Looking for practical information and measured updates on COVID-19 (a.k.a. the Coronavirus)? Look no further than Fenway Health’s COVID-19/Coronavirus Information web page. Based in Boston, Fenway Health is the largest LGBTQ-focused health care organization in the US.
As emerging developments pressed Fenway to cancel (or possibly postpone) this Saturday’s Men’s Event—one of Fenway’s major, and majorly fun, fundraising event of the year (along with The Dinner Party, of course, still on track for April 25)—Fenway is hard at work monitoring the situation.
“We realize things are changing rapidly. Fenway Health is monitoring the latest guidance from the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to provide updated information on this website as it becomes available,” states Fenway on its info page.
“There are many competing sources of information. For now, these are the most comprehensive and scientific guidance we can find.”
The page includes links to resources, the latest risk assessment and what that means, specific information for Fenway patients, practical advice for everyone, and plenty more. Fenway is also providing updates on its website and through email, in their patient portal, and via social media.
