It’s nice to be number one. The First Event should know: it’s one of the largest and longest running transgender conferences in the world. And it’s back for its 40th (yes, 40th!) year of workshops, professional training programs, fashion shows, speakers and evening dance parties that will bring together participants from across the country. First Event is presented by the Trans Club of New England, one of the region’s major social support organizations for the transgender community.
