One of the summer’s most fun feel-good events is back! On Saturday, July 20, 2019, Boston-based Community Research Initiative is holding its 16th annual Summer Party in Provincetown from noon to 3 p.m.

It’s fun because this afternoon garden party is set on a beautiful deck and lawn right on Provincetown Bay at The Red Inn, 15 Commercial St., and there’s plenty of friends, great food, drinks, special guests, and surprises. It’s feel-good because it raises funds for CRI’s lifesaving HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C clinical research.

“We couldn’t do this work without you. We haven’t been able to do this work without you,” CRI Executive Director Julie Marston told party-goers at last year’s fête. “By your support of us during these last 30 years, you’ve helped us approve nearly 30 drugs for HIV. And we’re not done yet!”

Hosted by The Red Inn and Dr. Scott Sylvia and Ryan Hanson, this year’s festivities pay tribute to the great work of Chris Casale, Outer Cape Health Services’ director of pharmacy services and operations and Provincetown Health Center site director. Casale will be the recipient of CRI’s Dr. Cal Cohen Founder’s Award.
