Club Café | Boston | November 10, 2016
FLAG Flag Football—the area’s LGBT & Allies flag football league—held its second annual Casino Night, at Club Café. Thanks to all who attended, more than $6,500 was raised. And when added to the $7,500 raised via an online auction in October, the league brought in more than $14,000, exceeding its fundraising goals. The funds are used to support the ongoing league happenings, including recreational football contests, LGBTQ youth scholarships, volunteerism and outreach. So many more lives will be impacted because of the record-breaking fundraising total achieved this year. The league gives a big shout out to photographer Patrick Lentz, Bingo Queen Mizery, the Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Jim Morgrage and everyone at Club Café, and all of the volunteers and prize donors.
