Major corporations like Google and Eastern Bank have signed on with Freedom Massachusetts to ensure that transgender people are not denied service at any hotel or restaurant.
New organization Freedom Massachusetts and its Co-Chairs Kasey Suffredini and Mason Dunn are making a push to make discrimination against transgender people illegal once and for all in the Bay State. And it includes backing from significant businesses.
Freedom Massachusetts is also launching its Lobby Day on September 17, where “hundreds of transgender Bay Staters will stand alongside our family, friends and allies in the Massachusetts Statehouse—and together, we’ll make the case to lawmakers that it’s time for full transgender equality,” according to promotional materials from the event.
