With its 40-year history making of life healthier for Boston’s LGBT community, people living with HIV/AIDS and their neighbors, it’s no surprise that Fenway Health is bringing five new members with inspirational track records of stellar service onto its board of directors.
Fenway recently announced the following new additional to its leadership team:
Jennifer Jones has more than 15 years of professional marketing experience in a variety of roles. Her responsibilities have included everything from creating marketing materials, increasing social media visibility, managing press relationships, re-designing websites, developing and executing marketing campaigns, and everything in between.
Jonathan Matsui s a Program Director for Faculty Appointments at Harvard Medical School after serving as a faculty member and running a research laboratory in the Department of Neuroscience at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. In his current role, he facilitates the appointments and promotions of senior faculty members by providing critical input and guidance to search and evaluation committees and individuals being considered for promotion. He currently serves on the Harvard Medical School standing committee for LGBTQ issues.
Kendra E. Moore is passionate about solving complex problems: decomposing them into their constituent parts, fusing multiple types of data, applying different modeling and analysis approaches, and assembling the results into a coherent process or system that supports key decision making processes. She is the President and CEO of Boston Fusion Corp., which develops advanced technology for fusing and exploiting large-scale data sets to learn patterns, detect anomalies, and provide alerts on interesting activities and anomalies. Application areas include: intelligence, cyber security, command and control, space operations, and disaster response.
Benjamin D. Perkins is currently the Vice President of Multicultural Initiatives/Health Equity for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. He has worked in the public health field for fifteen years, nine of those years at Fenway Health’s Fenway Institute, specializing in HIV prevention research and education to communities vulnerable to HIV infection. Benjamin received his Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School in 2000 and is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Michael L. Reney has been chief financial officer for Brigham and Women’s Health Care since 2008. As CFO, Michael is in charge of all financial related services for Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.
