For advocacy and modeling of LGBTQ inclusion and equality in the Jewish day school movement, three inspiriation individuals were honored as Hachmei Lev Honorees this year at Keshet’s annual spring gala. Rebekah Farber was recognized for raising LGBTQ awareness among philanthropists and for her related service on many boards, Dr. Marc Kramer for his long-time advocacy and Dr. Susie Tanchel for her work and service as a role model—until recently, Tanchel was the only out head of a Jewish day school in America.
