Long before she had tots around the world wailing along to the soundtrack to the Disney flick “Frozen,” Idina Menzel was a favorite among LGBT audiences for originating the role of bisexual performance artist Maureen in the queer rock opera “Rent.” That show’s signature song, “Seasons of Love,” is among the tunes she’s been performing on her latest national tour, though expect to also hear familiar melodies from musicals like “Wicked,” her new self-titled album of original pop tunes, a few cover songs—and, of course, a certain Disney anthem too. Just “Let It Go,” and enjoy.
