Harbor to the Bay cyclists riding on behalf of Boston’s Community Research Initiative get matched dollar-for-dollar on Friday, August 28, when Paul Moreno of 5 Star Travel matches up to $5,000 in contributions. Just go to CRI’s Harbor to the Bay contributions webpage on August 28, make your donation and Moreno will match it. You can donate in the name of a particular rider or Team CRI.
Of course you can always donate to any of the four local HIV/AIDS research and support groups the ride benefits right up to the big event on Saturday, September, 19, 2015, and afterwards. Launched in 2003, Harbor to the Bay has raised nearly $4 million for Fenway Health Center, AIDS Support Group of Cape and the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts in addition to CRI. One hundred percent of all rider-received pledges go directly to these beneficiaries.
There’s also still time to sign up as a rider and volunteers are always welcome.
